I grew up playing hockey in -10 degree weather, escaped to California to study photography, and like all good midwestern boys returned home promptly after graduating. 1988 seems like a long time ago and I have seen a few technological changes since then. Although there are times that I miss working with film and Polaroid I really love the fllexibility digital capture provides. The ability to incorporate stills with video and sound is just the latest advancement that has captured my fancy. I love adventure and exploring new places. Photography has allowed me to meet many interesting people and explore my creativity. I enjoy the interaction with my subjects and strive to bring out their unique personality. I am a stickler when it comes to my crews and believe a relaxed atmosphere is paramount to creating a comfort level, especially with non-professional talent.
